    At The Perfume Shop we celebrate diversity and we're on a conscious journey to ensure that we provide an inclusive and equitable workplace where everyone can be themselves and feel included.

    Last year we launched our Reverse Mentoring scheme where a number of Gen Z TPS People paired up with our Leadership Team & Senior Management Team to see what they could learn from each other. From understanding more about shopping habits to Tik Tok creations, we’ve seen some brilliant connections and learnings so far for both mentors and mentees.

    We love “Growing our Own” through learning and development at The Perfume Shop and aim to create a stimulating environment where our teams can flourish. In 2021, through our interactive employee accessible learning platform DISCOVER, there were 317 pieces of new learning created, 119,000 modules completed and over 900 competition prizes won. We are proud to have over 400 Fragrance Foundation Experts in our stores, with our top scoring exam takers celebrated at the Fragrance Foundation Awards. During 2022 we will continue to deliver a blended learning experience, via face-to-face meetings, online modules and our learner app so we can help our Perfume People develop their talent, passion and spark and grow within our business.

Our internal communications platform “The Nose” enables teams to connect 24/7 and keep up to date on all things The Perfume Shop. In 2021, we posted over 550 articles, saw over 1,700 employee posts to our app, and had 580,000 content views.
