Evoking a fragment of amber resin picked up by Serge Lutens during a wander through the souks of Marrakech, which lay forgotten for years inside a thuja wood box, this perfume marks a return to a focus on the identity and authenticity of unique ingredients. "This fragrance is not an Oriental, but an Arab and a Lutens. That being the case, don't expect it to fit in. The point of departure was a scented wax, found in a souk and long forgotten in a wooden box. The amber only became sultanesque after I reworked the composition using cistus, an herb that sticks to the fingers like tar, then added an overtone that nobody had ever dreamed of: vanilla. HOW TO USE

Step 1: Remove the cap from the fragrance bottle.

Step 2: Unscrew and remove the pump.

Step 3: Insert the tip of the refill into the bottle and gently* screw in the refill, taking care to hold it by the tip until the automatic refill engages. Hold the refill while filling. It will automatically stop when the optimum fluid level is reached in the fragrance bottle or when the refill is empty.

Step 4: Unscrew the refill, still holding it by the tip.

Step 5: Screw the pump back into the perfume bottle and close it. *No major effort is required during handling. Do not force the screw and wait a few seconds for the filling to start. If you feel any blockage, unscrew the tip and repeat step 3. A 150 ml refill allows you to refill your 50 ml bottle three times or your 100 ml bottle 1.5 times and cannot be used on its own.
