Stop what you’re doing right now. The hottest hair trends for festival season have arrived, and we’re currently obsessing over them. Get friendly with pastel pink, the slicked-back wet look and beach waves, which have Insta grid written all over them. And we’re here to tell you which perfumes make the perfect colour match…
Hair tribe: pastel pink
Take inspo from the Marc Jacobs SS19 catwalks, where pastel-pink hair was paired with bouffants, feathers and bows. And as pastel pink is trending for festival season, we suggest trying super-cute Ariana Grande Sweet Like Candy. It’s the perfect festival companion, with sweet notes of sugar-frosted blackberries, fluffy marshmallow and vanilla. And as you’ll want to smell incredible while you dance to your favourite music, this one’s a main contender for your next festival.
Hair tribe: the wet look
Slicked-back wet hair is totally trending. You need to look as if you’ve just come out of the shower – with baby hair, buns or hair tucked behind your ears. We spotted these edgy looks on the Proenza Schouler and Balmain SS19 catwalks, and we’ll be slicking back our hair all through festival season. Choose an aquatic fragrance to match the wet-hair look, like Gucci Bloom Acqua Di Fiori, which oozes water-drenched flowers (jasmine and tuberose), musk and sandalwood.
Hair tribe: beachy waves
It’s official: we heart beach hair, especially as seen on the Etro and Zimmermann SS19 catwalks. And we’re totally going for the surfer-girl look this festival season – think loose, messy waves, which look as if you’ve just spent the day by the sea. For maximum impact, couple with glitter face paint, body glitter and gems. Your matching beachy scent? DKNY Women Summer 2019 should do the trick, with its sweet rhubarb, mandarin oil and freesia, which will transport you straight to your sun lounger.
TRAVALO TRAVEL ATOMISERS
Say hello to the must-have beauty essential for festival season. The Travalo is an atomiser to keep your fragrance in so you can top up on-the-go. What more could you dream of?
