Are you the kind of perfume wearer who applies a quick spray onto your wrists before running out the door? If so, you have not been getting the most out of your perfume or aftershave! If you want the fragrance to last as long as possible, check out these other pulse points on your body which will accentuate your fragrance.
First, what is a pulse point?
A pulse point is an area on the body where blood pumps near the skins surface, such as the inside of the wrist. Perfume loves to be sprayed on warm parts of the body, which makes pulse points an ideal location for your favourite scent.
There are several pulse points on the body you can spray or dab your perfume, but to really get the most out of the scent, why not try one of these places?
Inside the elbow
Some people may look at you like you're mad… I mean, perfume goes on the wrist, right? But the inside of your elbow radiates heat, making it a great place for your perfume to sit and increase its longevity.
Behind your knees
Yes, another odd one, but bear with us! Next time you’re sporting a pair of shorts, a skirt or a dress give this trick a try. The area behind our knees is quite soft and usually very warm – the perfect place for a perfume be sprayed on.
Behind your ears
Your personal choice of perfume fills you with joy, so why not share it will everyone who comes within close proximity to you? Spraying perfume behind your ears not only means you get a constant wave of the scent but when someone leans into to talk to you (hot date, anyone?) then they will get it too! Win, win.
